EatingOrganic.CA Is Officially Launched Today

OK. THE website on organic food is finally launched! A memorable date: July 7, 2014.

We read about food contamination, pollution, pesticides, genetically-modified food, and food-related disease on a daily basis. Now we are no longer sure if what we have been relying on for living will one day cause our own death.

On the Internet, we can find all kinds of information about food and health and lots of other things. There are believers of organic food and there are, of course, others that do not believe paying a premium price for organic food is worth it. Who is right? Who is wrong?

Or is there right or wrong in people’s choice of food?

It will be up to you to decide. Due to the special characteristics of organic farming and production, organic foods usually cost more than conventionally grown foods to buy. There is, however, also the possibility to grow some of our own food, in our backyard, or even on the balcony. It’s all about devotion and time. And it’s one’s personal choice.

I have made mine. My choice.

By launching this website, I have made a commitment to, on the one hand, keep track of my experience with organic food, and, on the other, share with my readers what I have learned during this endeavor.

It’s all about organic food. It’s EatingOrganic.CA, based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

About J.A.B.

Just another blogger... and an accountant in another life. As a kid, he admired the beautiful work of the carpenters in his small village and had wanted to become one of them. After leaving his village, he had tried his hands on translation, writing, law, finance, and finally settled on accounting. But deep down, he is still that little boy in that small village. Now he dreams about his days in retirement. As a farmer. A farmer on a small organic farm. Just like those old and gold days in the village.
